Council President Glass to Host Media Availability on Monday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m. |

ROCKVILLE, Md., July 7, 2023—On Monday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m., Montgomery County Council President Evan Glass will hold a media availability to discuss the progress made on pay equity in Montgomery County since the passage of the Pay Equity Act which he spearheaded in 2019. Additionally, Glass will provide an update on Montgomery County’s new Anti-Hate Task Force that begins its work on July 11. This task force was created by a Council resolution which was led by Glass and received unanimous Council support. He will conclude the media availability by discussing other Council matters and taking questions from members of the media.
The Council President’s media availability will be held on Zoom and is for members of the news media. The public can view the media availability on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).
