Important Announcements From Community Use of Public Facilities.

Community Use Canceled at 11 Public School Locations Due To COVID Surge

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has closed 11 schools for 14 calendar days due to increased positivity numbers. 

As a result, all community use, including before and after-school childcare, at the following 11 public school locations for dates of use January 5, through and including January 18, 2022, is canceled:

 

  1. Rock Terrace School in Rockville
  2. Seneca Valley High School in Germantown
  3. Hallie Wells Middle School in Clarksburg
  4. Roberto Clemente Middle School in Germantown
  5. Cannon Road Elementary School in Silver Spring
  6. North Chevy Chase Elementary School
  7. Monocacy Elementary School in Dickerson
  8. Forest Knolls Elementary School in Silver Spring
  9. Waters Landing Elementary School in Germantown
  10. Rosemont Elementary School in Gaithersburg
  11. Sherwood Elementary School in Sandy Spring

 

As of this time, CUPF is not able to reschedule make-up dates or relocate user groups to alternate sites.

Refunds will be made in the form of check and mailed to users impacted by these closures.
