- Intergovernmental Relations Legislative Analyst (Climate Policy)
- Senior Planning Specialist (Zero-Emission Vehicles)
- Program Manager I (Climate Engagement)

DEP is seeking an Intergovernmental Relations Legislative Analyst to develop and lead the implementation of Montgomery County’s Clean Energy Action Plan. This position will be working with elected officials in the Maryland General Assembly, officials at the PSC, and utility representatives on laws, regulations, policies, and practices governing energy supplied to and used by the County’s residents, businesses, and institutions. This position will be navigating the competing policy objectives of a variety of stakeholders across a range of State climate and energy policies. Read more about this opportunity and how to apply.

DEP is seeking a Senior Planning Specialist to work with local, State and regional stakeholders, including utilities, governments, businesses, residents, non-profit organizations, the vehicle industry (including manufacturers and dealers), and the community at large to develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve adoption of zero-emission programs that will accelerate the turnover of the private internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle fleet to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs), including electric vehicles (EVs). This position will function as the lead for the County on all issues related to private sector EV/ZEV adoption. Read more about this opportunity and how to apply.

DEP is seeking a Program Manager I to join the Office of Energy and Climate to engage the community as partners in climate action. This position will lead a range of climate-related engagement and communication activities, with a particular focus on efforts to involve underserved community members who are likely to feel the impacts of climate change most acutely. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in program development and management, community engagement, and working with low income, under-represented and BIPOC communities.
