VACCINATION INFORMATION: WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENT?


Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Clinics are currently vaccinating 1A (all tiers) and 1B (Tier 1: ages 75+). DHHS is preregistering 1A/1B/1C. It is very important to preregister for your appointment! More info - here.

Get a ride to the clinic.

Don't wait until you have a vaccine appointment to arrange transportation. Start planning now.

Prepare for your appointment:

Bring identification.

Examples include, but are not limited to

  • Driver's License
  • Maryland Identification Card
  • Passport
  • Work ID

Wear clothing with easy access to your upper arm.

Wear a mask.

Reschedule if you are sick.

Park and come in.

Expect a short wait time.

You may feel side effects:

  • pain at your shot site
  • tired
  • muscle aches
  • joint pain
  • headaches
  • chills

Come back for your second dose!!

In about three weeks, we will contact you for your second dose appointment. The email will come from c19vaccination@montgomerycountymd.gov.
