Grant Program Updates

MoCo Restaurant Relief Grant Phase Two is now open for new applications! If you are a Montgomery County restaurant, caterer, food truck, winery or brewery that did not receive a Restaurant Relief Grant in Phase One, you may be eligible for a $10,000 Phase Two grant. If you already received a Restaurant Relief Grant in Dec. 2020 or Jan. 2021, you will automatically be contacted about a Phase Two grant award, you do not need to reapply.

Hotel Relief Grant Program will provide financial assistance to hotels and other lodging entities located in MoCo! Application deadline midnight, Sunday Feb. 7!

February Events

The Office of the County Executive hosts bi-monthly Economic Revitalization & Recovery Town Halls. Join us Feb. 5, 3:00-4:00 PM for updates and guidance. Submit your questions to BizPortal@montgomerycountymd.gov by Wednesday, Feb. 3. Click here at the time of event to attend online. You can also watch live on County Cable Montgomery available on Comcast and RCN (Channels 6 and HD996) and Verizon (Channel 30), or stream live on the County Facebook page.

County Executive Marc Elrich has released the Draft Climate Action Plan for public review. The Draft Climate Action Plan is open for public review and comment through the end of February. The complete list of recommended actions is available on the Department of Environmental Protection Climate Home Page. The plan will be finalized in the spring of 2021.

The Department of Permitting Services (DPS) online system allows for the application, payment and issuance of permits. Review DPS eServices online training How to Upload Plans, for helpful information on using the system.
