Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich to Rollout First Four Electric Ride On Buses

Thursday, Sept. 3; 10 a.m.

David F. Bone Equipment Maintenance and Transit Operations Center

16700 Crabbs Branch Way, Rockville

(Near the Shady Grove Metro) 

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich; County Council President Sidney Katz; Council Transportation and Environment Committee Chair Tom Hucker; Department of General Services Director David Dise; and Department of Transportation Director Chris Conklin and other officials will officially launch the County’s first four Ride On electric buses with a ceremonial “unplug” event. 

Following the event, the media will have an opportunity to speak with the officials and get video inside the buses and at other designated areas of the maintenance and transit operations facility including bus sanitizing demonstrations and sneak peak of new Flash buses.

All attendees need to wear masks. Safe distancing protocols will be strictly enforced.
