Ride On Bus Passengers Encouraged to Take the COVID-19 Transportation Survey
Montgomery County Department of Transportation's (MCDOT) Ride On bus system is interested in obtaining feedback on its passengers’ experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and is encouraging customers to take a brief survey in English or En Espanol.
The survey was created to determine how often riders are making essential trips and whether they expect to increase bus use as Montgomery County moves into COVID-19 Phase I reopening. The survey will also help guide
Ride On decisions as it ramps up service levels.
The survey asks how safety protocols impacted the passenger experience, riders’ understanding of the need for these protocols and whether users support the measures. These protocols include closing off the front of the buses to protect operators, boarding through the rear door, mandatory use of face coverings, bypassing waiting passengers if buses have reached their limit for safe social distancing, and other actions.
