Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday, February 27 from 6-8 pm at United Therapeutics in downtown Silver Spring for the Montgomery County Climate Action Plan Town Hall & Open House. At this town hall and open house, the five community-based climate planning workgroups presented their recommendations for Montgomery County to reduce GHG emissions, build resilience to climate impacts, and support more equitable communities now and in the future.
Weren’t able to join us? See a recording of the full Climate Action Plan Town Hall here. Download photos from the event here. Check out media coverage of the event here.
The recommendations developed by Montgomery County’s community-based climate workgroups are now available for public review. Review the overview of recommendations, the complete list of all 850 recommendations, and the reports and supplementary materials developed by each climate workgroup here.
|
Make your voice heard! After reviewing the workgroup recommendations, take this quick survey to share your views on the most important areas on which the County should focus and how actions should be prioritized.
To give feedback on any or all of the 850 workgroup recommendations, use this extended survey format (please note, a desktop computer is needed to complete this survey).
