Caregiving is filled with care for others. In Montgomery County (and online) there are many inspirational opportunities that help you take time out from your routine and "give back" to yourself. Locally we have four established Life Long Learn providers. These enrichment programs (and other opportunities) allow participants to stay connected, enjoy the pleasures of being part of community events, participate in talks, workshops, trips and continue to live and learn.

Getting out of the house isn't always easy for caregivers. Thankfully many organizations offer phone based caregiver support groups (plus enrichment classes). You may never have participated in a phone conference call, please be assured it is easy, perfectly normal and skilled facilitators lead all phone based programs.

Each month we feature new caregiver resources, special programs, plus events that offer caregivers unique supports. Keep in touch as Montgomery County continues to announce new caregiver resources and educational supports. Stay connected and benefit!
