Thursday, September 7; 11:00 a.m.

Pooks Hill Tower and Court, 3 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will launch a campaign to promote the County’s stepped-up inspections of multifamily apartments and outreach for expanded tenant advocacy. The expansion of services and resources for tenants resulted from strengthened housing legislation enacted recently.

Leggett will be joined by Councilmembers Marc Elrich, Nancy Floreen, Tom Hucker, and Hans Riemer, as well as Department of Housing and Community Affairs Director Clarence Snuggs, and the Executive Director of the Housing and Opportunities Commission, Stacy L. Spann.
