DPS Impacted by 255 Garage Closure

The parking garage located at 255 Rockville Pike will begin 3 phases of repairs effective June 13, 2016. Other than Handicap parking, the public parking in the 255 Rockville Pike Garage will be temporarily unavailable due to these landlord repairs.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We expect full restoration of parking by September 2016.

DPS Publishes New Roadside Protection Guidelines

New Law Saves Trees

Since the Roadside Tree Protection Law was passed in 2013, 333 trees have been saved and 387 trees are scheduled to be planted per issued permits.

Coming up DPS eServices Open House

Countdown to Paperless for Fire Alarm, Electrical and Utility Permits has Begun!

On July 5, 2016 DPS will begin requiring use of eServices for 3 permit types: Fire Alarm, Electrical and Utility permits. The countdown is on . . . to a faster, paperless path to permitting!

In preparation, DPS continues to offer free training on Mondays at 9 am in the DPS training room. There is no need to register; those who are interested may simply stop in.

Additionally, there will be a DPS eServices Open House on June 24th from 9 am to 3 pm where customers can also create accounts, get training, and ask questions.
