Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett to Kick Off 50+ Employment Expo

Local companies to be honored for age-friendly workplaces

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will join David Gamse, executive director of the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) to kick off the 50+ Employment Expo.

Winners of the annual Experience Counts Awards will also be announced at the expo. Montgomery County has joined with the JCA and the Workforce Investment Board to identify and recognize County employers who have implemented innovative strategies to create age-friendly workplaces. These companies will be honored for demonstrating best practices in hiring, retaining and engaging older workers.
