Commerce is sponsoring the JLUS, which is a community-driven process to examine local land use issues when military installations and communities are neighbors. The project will ultimately produce a road map to address land use issues and promote compatible land use in the study jurisdictions adjacent to military operational areas. To identify land use issues and generate solutions, the project team will consider all perspectives and hear from everyone who's affected.
