Update: Joint Land Use Study Survey Closes Soon!

JLUS study

The January 10, 2018 edition of Planning Practice Wednesday discussed the Maryland Department of Commerce’s (Commerce) Statewide Joint Land Use Study (JLUS)

The survey period will end within two weeks! Please help by taking the 5-10-minute survey.

Commerce is sponsoring the JLUS, which is a community-driven process to examine local land use issues when military installations and communities are neighbors. The project will ultimately produce a road map to address land use issues and promote compatible land use in the study jurisdictions adjacent to military operational areas. To identify land use issues and generate solutions, the project team will consider all perspectives and hear from everyone who's affected.
