It's October and we have many treats for you (no tricks). Thinking about insurance can be scary, but doesn't have to be. Instead of fearing insurance, think of it as a strategic investment in your financial future. Consider coverage for accidents, illnesses, natural disasters, or theft. Insurance may help when life throws you something scary or unexpected.
Treat yourself to reading about these topics:
While the Maryland Insurance Administration does not sell insurance and we cannot recommend a particular policy or insurance company, we do want to help you learn what types of coverage are available. Additionally, we are here to assist you if you have a complaint involving an insurer, an insurance producer, public adjuster or adviser.

Are all licensed drivers living in your home listed on your auto policy?
It is important that you notify your insurer of all licensed drivers living in your home (pets not included) to protect yourself in the event of an accident involving a driver that lives in your home, even if that individual has their own car and insurance policy. You need to check now or a claim could be denied.
