National Preparedness Month helps spread awareness about preparing for disasters and emergencies. While we can't stop certain natural disasters, we can plan ahead. When you're prepared, you can better protect yourself and avoid insurance claims. Here are a few resources to help you prepare:
One of the ways the Maryland Insurance Administration helps Marylanders after a disaster is through our Virtual Disaster Center. During these sessions, we help anyone with insurance-related issues or questions by sharing an informational presentation followed by private breakout sessions with a representative from the Maryland Insurance Administration. If you, or someone you know, were impacted during the recent weather events, including flooding in Baltimore City and Silver Spring, we encourage you to attend one of these upcoming sessions.
Thursday, September 28, 2023 - 2 Sessions: 12 pm - 2 pm or 5 pm - 7 pm
Use this Zoom link to join: https://www.zoomgov.com/j/1603802898
Or, Dial-in number: (646) 828-7666 Meeting ID: 160 380 2898
