Amid the public health crisis we are facing, Maryland Health Connection has opened up a Coronavirus Emergency Special Enrollment Period for all Marylanders who do not currently have health insurance. 

Individuals can enroll now through Wednesday, April 15. Coverage selected during this time will have a start date of April 1, 2020, regardless of when a consumer enrolls during this period.

Please forward this email to three or four leaders in your community! This will help spread the news and get people the coverage they need. By forwarding this email you’ll also give influencers in your community quick access to the Coronavirus Special Enrollment Toolkit and our recent blog on COVID-19 which offers guidance on how to enroll and what is needed to apply for coverage. Whether it’s a local health leader, faith leader, staff at a community organization, a health care provider, or a friend – we want to be sure we’re spreading the word through trusted voices across the state.
