6:17 P.M.

100 block Westway. Vandalism. Unknown person(s) used a rock to break out the kitchen window of a residence.

12:53 P.M.

38 court Ridge Road. Theft. Unknown person(s) took a blue in color 24” Trek bicycle with a black bike bag on the front from a shed.

6:00 A.M.

100 block Centerway. Vandalism. Unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the wall of the Aquatics/Fitness Center.


Franklin Park/Beltway Plaza/Greenbelt Station/Capitol Office Park/Metro

6:00 P.M.

6000 block Greenbelt Road. Theft. The victim advised that the suspect came in to pick up his repaired phone at the Cyber Unlock store. The suspect then asked to use the victim’s cell phone to complete the sale. The suspect then ran out of the store with the victim’s cell phone without paying the repair bill. The suspect is described as a black male, no further.

9:40 A.M.

6200 block Springhill Court. Robbery. The victim advised that he met someone through a dating app and agreed to meet her in an apartment building in the 6200 block of Springhill Court. While waiting, he was approached by two suspects armed with handguns. The suspects demanded money and began punching and kicking the victim. After taking the victim’s wallet, keys and cell phone the suspects fled the area on foot. The victim refused treatment for minor injuries. The suspects are described as two Hispanic males with dark complexions, with dark curly hair, wearing dark clothing, no further.

4:05 P.M.

6100 block Greenbelt Road. Sex offense. The victim advised that she was in AMC Movie Theatre watching a movie when the suspect sat down next to her. The suspect passed the victim a note with a name and number on it. The suspect then touched the victim on the leg then left the theatre. The suspect is described as a black male in his 40’s with a beard, wearing a black coat, no further.

7:42 P.M.

6000 block Greenbelt Road. Theft. The victim advised that she was outside the Five Below when she was approached by the suspect, who attempted to sell merchandise to her. The victim agreed to make a purchase and when she produced cash the suspect grabbed it from her and fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and carrying a red bag, no further.

8:26 P.M.

6000 block Greenbelt Road. Assault. The victim, an employee at Five Below, advised that she observed the suspect shoplift merchandise and leave the store. When the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect punched the victim in the face and fled the area. The victim refused any medical treatment. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, wearing a blue and black coat and blue jeans.

10:13 P.M.

6200 block Greenbelt Road. Assault. The victim, an employee at Wendy’s restaurant, advised that he was involved in a verbal altercation with a customer when the customer slapped him and fled the scene on foot. The victim refused medical treatment. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue coat.

12:30 A.M

5800 block Cherrywood Terrace. Robbery. The victim advised that he met someone through a dating app and agreed to meet her in the 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace. The female suspect got in the passenger seat of the victim’s vehicle, at which time two unknown males approached the victim, one with a handgun and the other with a knife. The victim then got into a physical altercation with the suspect, resulting in the victim being stabbed and struck with the handgun. All three suspects then fled the scene. The female suspect is described as a black female with short black hair and a dark complexion, wearing a black shirt and grey sweatpants. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Prince George's Hospital Center for treatment.

6:15 P.M.

9100 block Edmonston Road. Robbery. The victim advised that he was walking to an apartment when he was approached by the two suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and announced a robbery. After obtaining the victim’s wallet both suspects fled the area on foot. The suspects are described as a black male, tall with a thin build, wearing all black clothing and a black male, short with a stocky build, wearing all black.

6000 block Greenbelt Road. Theft. The victim advised that she lost her wallet and credit cards inside the wallet were later used to make unauthorized purchases.


East/Greenway Shopping Center

6:04 P.M.

7700 block Hanover Parkway. Reckless endangerment. Officers responded to a report of the sound of gunshots. Witnesses advised that shortly after hearing the shots three subjects were observed running from the area then get into a vehicle described as a grey Honda Civic. No injuries or damage was reported.

7400 block Greenbelt Road. Theft. Unknown person(s) used unknown means to break into a locker at LA Fitness and took a wallet.

6900 block Hanover Parkway. Theft. Unknown Person(s) took a parcel package from the front stoop of a residence.

7:55 P.M.

7500 block Greenbelt Road. Theft. The victim advised that on February 13th, while working at Hibachi and Wings, an unknown subject took her cell phone from the counter. Unknown reason for the delay in reporting the theft.


Citywide Automotive Crime

5700 block Greenbelt Metro Drive. Vandalism to vehicle. Unknown person(s) broke out the rear passenger window of a vehicle.

5900 block Greenbelt Road. Stolen auto. A 2016 Honda Civic 2-door. The vehicle was recovered February 16th by the Takoma Park Police Department in the area of Poplar Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue, Takoma Park, MD. No arrests.

6000 block Greenbelt Road. Recovered stolen vehicle. A 2003 Mazda MPV van, reported stolen to the Prince George’s County Police Department. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been recovered previously, but had not been cleared from the computer.

7200 block Hanover Drive. Theft from vehicle. Unknown person (s) broke out the driver’s window and removed a laptop computer.

7200 block Hanover Drive. Attempt theft from vehicle. Unknown person (s) broke out the passenger side window of a vehicle. Unknown at this time if anything was taken.

Recovered stolen vehicle. A 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, reported stolen January 11th from the 9100 block of Edmonston Court, was recovered this date by the Prince George’s County Police Department in the area of North Point and Levin’s Court, Laurel, MD. One arrest was made. The tags on the vehicle at the time of theft, 2CE7015, were not recovered and are still out as stolen.
