We are happy to announce that MBE Liaison training will be held on November 13, 2019 at 1 pm in the Governor's Coordinating Offices in Crownsville. The day will be divided into two sessions: a morning session for SBR Liaisons and and afternoon session for MBE Liaisons.
Please register to attend the session(s) which align to your duties. For example, an MBE only liaison should register for the afternoon session, but if you are dually responsible for both MBE and SBR, you should register for both sessions and plan to attend all day.
If there are any specific topics you would like to discuss, send an email to the MBE Compliance Manager at nichelle.johnson1@maryland.gov. Our general list of topics to be covered during training includes: reporting requirements, the 60% Rule, MBE Forms, the PRG Process, VSBE Certification and Annual Reporting. What else do we need to cover?
