For Your Business
24/7 Access to State's Powerful Small Business Tool
The State of Maryland's FY2020 Procurement Forecast is now available on the Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs' website. The database is populated with solicitations of $100,000 or greater that are expected to be advertised or awarded through June 30, 2020. It comprises both new and recurring contracts. Users can choose from six different options to focus their search. By downloading search results to an Excel spreadsheet, users will obtain additional information not visible on the screen, such as the buyer's name and contact information. Every small business interested in doing business with the State of Maryland should be familiar with this powerful business intelligence tool.

Doing Business with the State of Maryland
Are you registered as a vendor in the state's procurement database? Maryland recently launched a new eProcurement platform called eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA). The system automatically sends registered vendors an email notice when a solicitation is posted that aligns with what you do. All vendors must identify their product and service categories as part of their vendor profile. This is important because it directly impacts the solicitation notices you will receive from the system. Please read the eMMA Managing Vendor Profile Quick Reference Guide for instructions and be sure your product and service codes are up-to-date and accurate.
