Small Biz Bulletin - June 2018

Message from Special Secretary Rhee

#ECSTRONG

It is impossible for us to truly comprehend what Ellicott City's visitors, residents, and merchants felt on May 27th when flash flooding struck the Main Street district for the second time in less than two years. The images we saw on our televisions and social media channels are unforgettable. As the damage is assessed and clean up gets underway, small business owners will be faced with many difficult challenges. Thankfully, state, county, and federal resources will be available to assist them. There is also a tremendous outpouring of support from citizens, social organizations, and business associations from across the state. Once again, we are witness to the incredible generosity of Marylanders who are ready, willing, and able to assist others in their time of need. This is what makes Maryland is a special place to live, work, and own a business.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Rhee
Special Secretary
