MD iMAP Update - February 2016

DATA & SERVICES
A) Housing Designated Areas (Map Service and Feature Service) - Housing Designated Areas is comprised of several datasets that analyze a variety of housing factors to determine eligibility for many federal housing related programs. Data provided by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
B) NAIP Imagery (Map Service) - The NAIP Imagery service on the MD iMAP Public server displays the latest NAIP imagery available, which is now the 2015 imagery. The 2013 NAIP Imagery (Map Service) has been archived to the MD iMAP Imagery server.
The NAIP Imagery is also available from the Maryland Statewide Imagery Download Tool and our pre-defined area Dropbox site.
C) US National Grid - US National Grid coverage for Maryland Zone 17S (Map Service and Feature Service) and Zone 18S (Map Service and Feature Service) are now available.
D) Baltimore County DEM - The latest Digital Elevation Model for Baltimore County is now available for download. The download links for this DEM and other counties can be found at http://imap.maryland.gov/Pages/lidar-dem-download-files.aspx.
E) Blue Infrastructure (Map Service and Feature Service) - Blue Infrastructure delineates key habitats for aquatic and near-shore locations. Available as both a map and feature service, the data for this service is provided by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
F) MVA and VEIP Locations (Map Service and Feature Service) - MVA Locations now contain attributes for URLs to each MVA Location with Customer Service Wait Times. Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) locations now contain attributes with URLs to live camera feed of the stations. Updated data provided by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.
G) Annual Average Daily Traffic (Map Service and Feature Service) - This service provides Traffic Monitoring data as a key component for analysis and planning of long-term operations for the State's roadway system. The data is collected by the Maryland State Highway Administration and the Maryland Transportation Authority.

MEETINGS & TRAINING
Meetings - The MD iMAP Technical Committee meets the first or third Tuesday of every month at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). These meetings are open and all are welcome to attend in person or via a WebEx teleconference.

Training - The MD Geographic Information Office continues to provide GIS training for using MD iMAP resources, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online through our Statewide GIS Training Program.
