Preliminary Cause: Accidental due to lightning strike

Additional Information: The accidental fire was a result of a lightning strike to the exterior of the residence. Both the smoke alarm and sprinkler system activated. The occupant and family pet escaped without injury and are currently being assisted by the American Red Cross.
