Commemorate Black History Month by learning about one of Maryland's greatest heroes. Harriet Tubman: Soldier of Freedom is the heart-wrenching yet triumphant story of the famed abolitionist and suffragette.

Filmed on the Eastern Shore, it shares the story of Tubman as an enslaved person, her pursuit of freedom on the Underground Railroad, and her determination to end slavery and bring liberty and justice to others.

This film has been featured at the Visitor Center of Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park in her native Dorchester County. Take some time to watch and plan your visit today!
