Dream Catcher Craft June 23 at 7 p.m.
Join a ranger around the campfire to learn about the Native American tradition and legend of dream catchers. You will get to make one of your own using natural materials in the park. Meet around the Lake House.

Herp Hike June 24 at 1 p.m.
During
this interactive program, you are invited to join a ranger on a quest to find reptiles and amphibians. Wear hiking boots or other appropriate footwear. Meet at the Lake House.

Exploring the Language of Nature July 1 at 6 p.m.
On this 45-minute walk, volunteer naturalist Jack Slocomb will guide participants through a discovery process designed to create a deep sense of connection with our natural world.
You'll be exposed to
native plants and animals, and will learn the
indicators of various natural habitats along the Gazebo Overlook Loop
Trail.
This activity is suited for ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Dress for hiking and bring a bottle of water. Meet at the Lake House.

Sunset Paddle July 1 at 7 p.m.
On this
peaceful, evening paddle, you will explore New Germany
Lake and discover some of
the many species that call it their home. The cost is $10 per
boat. Meet near the Lake House.

Greg Latta Concert July 2 at 7 p.m.
Proficient on more than 15 instruments, Latta is an award-winning singer/songwriter.
He will perform Appalachian, Irish, old-time and traditional music at the New Germany Lake House.

Free Fishing Day July 4, all day
On free fishing day days, licenses are not required to catch and possess finfish in tidal and non-tidal waters for recreational purposes. All other fishing laws and regulations still apply.
