Registry Process Enhancements

MDH is enhancing the Community Options Waiver Registry process to increase the number of individuals MDH can place on a wave and offer the ability to apply. This update also reduces the number of letters that get sent to the individual from three to two.
Model Waiver Enhancements

MDH is updating various forms and functions related to the Model Waiver that will enable the Division of Nursing Services (DONS) and the Case Management Agency to better manage their participants.
LTSSMaryland EVV Mobile App Multi-language display
Programs: Office of Long-Term Services and Support (OLTSS) and Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)
MDH is updating the LTSSMaryland EVV mobile App to allow text display in multiple languages. This update will allow users to toggle between Russian, Spanish, English, Arabic and Chinese languages.
Address ADCAPS Error

MDH is addressing an error that prevented users from accessing specific ADCAPS. This correction will allow users to view and work with these forms again.
Address DDA Individual Record Error

MDH is addressing an error that prevented users from accessing specific DDA Individual Records. This correction will allow users to view and work with these forms again.
Update the CCS All PCP Report

MDH is enhancing the existing All PCP Report to include new ‘Prior Annual PCP Date’ and ‘Effective Date’ fields. This enhancement will also correct the 90-60-30 countdown for Annual PCPs.
Turn off PCP Auto Extend feature for Self-Directed participants

MDH is turning off PCP auto extend functionality for participants that are identified as Self Directing.
Updates to Provider Portal
Update the “Actions Required” section of Provider Portal
Programs: All Programs
MDH is updating the “Actions Required” section of the Provider Portal home page to better display exceptions for users who provide services in multiple programs. Users will be able to expand exception categories to see the exception counts broken down by program.
Remove weekly and daily hour limitations from Employment Services- Ongoing Job Supports
Programs: Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)
Effective July 1, 2023, this update removes the limit of Ongoing Job Supports to 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week to support participants that work overtime on a particular day. This update also implements the following:
- Adds a daily maximum of 64 units (16 hours) and a weekly maximum of 448 units (112 hours).
- Implements a new daily maximum of 64 units (16 hours) of both combined meaningful day services and on-going job supports.
- Updates existing calculation for the weekly maximum of 160 units (40 hours) for meaningful day services to exclude Employment Services-Ongoing Job Supports.
- Updates the Single Billing Entry, Multiple Billing Entry, and Provider Upload process to allow weekend selection for meaningful day service billing entry creation.
Updates to Autism Waiver Pay Week Cycle

MDH is updating the pay cycle for Autism Waiver to hold MMIS claim submission for some days of service to align with the Sunday-Saturday billing week calculations for Autism Waiver services.
Correct Duplicate Billing Lines and MMIS Reruns on the DDA Authorized Service Report
