COVID Vaccine Enrollment for Pharmacies And Pharmacists

At present only hospitals and local health departments are being enrolled in the COVID vaccine distribution program in Maryland. We anticipate pharmacy enrollment during phase 2 to begin the week of January 11, 2021. Pharmacies that do register will have to report vaccination encounter data according to phase 2 data requirements. As you may have heard from the Governor's press conference, the state has activated the federal LTCF pharmacy pgm. Here is the link for the federal pgm:

Also find attached info on the federal retail pharmacy pgm. We don't have a date on when that will begin.

Also, the Maryland Department of Health has developed an on-line vaccination appointment registration link for healthcare providers. Baltimore City Health Department will be sending the board the link for pharmacists operating or living in Baltimore City to register next week. When the board receives the link we will distribute it through blast email and post it on our website, as well as additional county information as it becomes available.
