2013 Gene Chandler Memorial Golf Outing
Mr. Gene Chandler successfully led the Sickle Cell Anemia Golf Tournament for 20 consecutive years that began at Ruggles in 1989. Prior to his passing on Memorial Day in 2010, he led the 20th tournament that was held at Bulle Rock. Mrs. Chandler has now formed the Eugene C. Chandler Foundation. The funds received from this event, will be used to provide scholarships for Harford County Public School students that will be attending Harford Community College. In keeping with Gene’s wishes, this event will be "Returning to Ruggles" at the historic Aberdeen Proving Ground, which is the course and venue that Gene loved. Please come out and support this great cause. View the flyer here

An Update on the Joppatowne Shopping Center Dispute
We recently received a call from Charles Kerr, the attorney for Joppatowne in the ongoing dispute between Redner’s vs. Cordish. He advised us that two motions to “stay” and the execution of the injunction involving “Lapps Meats,” have been denied. Therefore, the injunction will stay in place pending the outcome of the appeal. He also explained that three other businesses will have their trial begin on Monday. These stores are King’s Deli, the baked goods store and the barbeque store. He expects the trial to take up most of the week. I advised him that I will be willing to lend my support in any way I can.
