Carroll County Celebrates 50 Years with Month-Long Scavenger Hunt

Westminster, MD, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 – Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks 50 Year Logo Hunt begins Thursday, July 1^st and will continue throughout the month of July, ending on Saturday, July 31^st.  

There are 50 stickers, printed with the Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks 50 Year Logo, hidden throughout 17 parks and facilities managed by the department. Help Carroll County Recreation & Parks celebrate its 50th Year Anniversary and celebrate the National Recreation & Parks Association’s “July is Park and Recreation Month” by participating in this month-long scavenger hunt. 

The Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks will leave hints and clues throughout July on its social media pages, @ccrecpark (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), helping participants locate the 50-Year stickers. When a sticker is located, the participant should simply scan the QR code, then enter their contact information along with the unique code found on the sticker in order to win fun prizes.
