THE 2018 CELEBRATING AMERICA SUMMER ADVENTURE IS UNDERWAY

ORDER THE PASSPORT & TRAVEL GUIDE

Westminster, MD, August 1, 2018 – The 2018 the Celebrating America Summer Adventure program is underway for kids entering 1st through 9th grades.  To order the Summer Adventure Passport and Travel Guide contact Vivian Daly at vdaly@ccg.carr.org or 410-386-2043.

Completing the adventure is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1)      Between May 20,, 2018 and September 23, 2018, visit at least
8 eligible locations.

2)      Snap a photo of yourself at each location to show you visited.

3)      Take your photos to any Carroll County Public Library for verification.

Once verified, participants are invited to an ice cream social and prize giveaway at Union Mills Homestead in October.  The grand prize is a laptop donated by the Carroll Technology Council, Inc.  Additional prizes from our generous sponsors include:  Books from Carroll County Public Library, Seasonal Passes for the Union Mills Homestead & Grist Mill, 1 year Family Passes to the Carroll County Farm Museum, Family Prize package from Carroll County Recreation and Parks, Prize package—Carroll County Office of Tourism, Family Prize Package—Carroll Arts Center, and Prize Package—Boys and Girls Club of Westminster.
