CSX to Begin Maintenance of Marriottsville Road Railroad Crossing

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – CSX Railroad will begin maintenance on the railroad crossing along Marriottsville Road at the Howard/Carroll County line in Marriottsville on or about early Friday, May 11 morning. While the crossing is closed, traffic will be detoured via MD 99/Old Frederick Road, Woodstock Road, MD 125/Old Court Road and Granite Road. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by Sunday, May 13. 

Variable message boards and signs will be posted to alert the public of this road closure and updates. Additionally, a recorded message at 410-313-3637 will carry details and updates.
