Joint Police Investigation Leads to Arrests in Armed Robbery Spree that Spread
Across Baltimore Region
BALTIMORE, MD / August 14, 2012 - Yesterday, detectives from the Baltimore Police Citywide Robbery Unit arrested two suspects accused of orchestrating a robbery spree that targeted at least 9 area businesses throughout the City and County. Part of a joint investigation with the Baltimore County Police Department, detectives identified the suspects through community intelligence and surveillance video. A tip from a community member ultimately led police to the location of the suspects.
Police believe the area of operation for the suspects was limited to the Lakeland area of south Baltimore and the Landsdowne area of Baltimore County. The suspects are charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, assault, theft and use of a handgun gun during commission of a felony.
