ZOO LIGHTS PRESENTED BY CHASE
A brilliant seasonal spectacle is coming to the Zoo again this winter! Walk through a festival of lights shaped like wildlife and your face might just light up too. Plus, get that warm glowing feeling inside knowing you are supporting the Zoo’s animal care and conservation work. NEW this year—Zoo Lights has moved to Main Valley, including Schaefer Plaza, the Farm Yard, and the train station!

Your Choice is Your Pathway to Possibilities
School Choice is your pathway to possibilities. At City Schools, students choose their middle and high school.
City Schools is finalizing plans for this year’s Middle and High School Choice process. The Annual School Choice Fair will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center on December 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Using Campus Portal, 5th and 8th grade families can complete and submit their Choice applications between December 1, 2022, and January 20, 2023.
YouthWorks 2023 applications open on January 3, 2023!
YouthWorks 2023 will operate a 5-week summer program for youth from Monday July 10th – Thursday August 10th. Youth may work five hours per day and five days per week, except for the four-day week ending on Thursday, August 10th. At most youth may work 25 hours per week for weeks 1 through 4 and up to 20 hours during week 5.
YouthWorkers will be introduced to workplace experiences, financial literacy development, career exploration opportunities, and skills training. Registered youth will be emailed with more information.
