The Northwest Transfer Station, a citizen drop off location for trash, debris and recyclables located at 5030 Reisterstown Road, will be closed to the public through April 20, 2012.  This will allow construction and rehabilitation improvements to be made to the facility.

During the closure, citizens may visit other citizen convenience centers to drop off debris and recycling located at:

- Northwest Citizen Convenience Center, 2840 Sisson Street

- Eastern Sanitation Yard, 6101 Bowley's Lane

- Western Sanitation Yard, 701 Reedbird Avenue

- Quarantine Road Sanitary Landfill, 6100 Quarantine Road
