Important Information About Your February COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment
Good Afternoon,
If you are receiving this email, you are currently scheduled for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment during the month of February at Baltimore City Community College (2901 Liberty Heights Ave.). We wanted to clarify that this clinic is a “second dose only clinic” for individuals who received their first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine previously at the Baltimore City Health Department’s mass vaccination site.
We believe the links to register for the second dose may have inadvertently been shared with others who are looking for a first-dose appointment. Unfortunately, due to limited vaccine supply, we are not able to offer first-doses at the BCCC mass vaccination site on your appointment date. We apologize for any confusion or frustration this may cause. We are continuing to communicate with the Maryland Department of Health regarding issues with the PrepMod sign up system.
We will always continue to post the most up to date information on our website, and our Twitter. Alternatively, there are more vaccination locations opening up soon.
If you registered intending to receive your first dose, please cancel your appointment and go to https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine to find other providers offering COVID-19 vaccinations near you.
One provider, the University of Maryland Medical System, has set up an interest form for eligible Baltimore City residents in Priority Groups 1A, 1B, and 1C to receive their vaccinations at the Baltimore City Convention Center. The link for sign-ups can be found at https://www.umms.org/coronavirus/covid-vaccine/get-vaccine/baltimore-convention-center-vaccine
Older adults aged 65+ who live in Baltimore City and have internet access, are encouraged to fill out our COVID-19 vaccine interest form by clicking here. Our Maryland Access Point (MAP) Ambassadors will contact you once an appointment becomes available. Baltimore City older adults without internet access can call the MAP line at 410-396-CARE (2273) to be added to the vaccine interest form. Adults 65+ are being prioritized for COVID-19 vaccinations in the City.
If you have an appointment to receive your second dose, please bring your COVID-19 vaccination record card with you to your appointment if possible. If you don’t have your record card, we can look your record up on-site when you arrive for your appointment.
We apologize for any misunderstanding and look forward to being able to offer a vaccine to you as soon as possible.
