The Baltimore City Department of General Services' Permit Office, located on the 1st floor of the Abel Wolman Municipal building, will be closed on Thursday, January 12 and Friday, January 13 for remodeling. The offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 17.
During this closure, permit applications will not be accepted and permits will not be issued for the following permit types and city services:

Temporary use of right-of-way for alley, street or curb lane closures, dumpsters, scaffolding, fences, footway, driveway, utility street cuts or filming.

Special events or block parties
- Oversized/Overweight hauling

Use of city equipment (stages, tents, generators, etc.)
- Rights-of-entry for horizontal banners.
As a reminder, City offices are closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
