Dear Business Leader:

We cordially invite you to participate in the Transportation and Infrastructure MBE Summit; Building Opportunities for Diversity into Infrastructure Projects.  This Summit will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the auditorium at the Earl G. Graves School of Business, Morgan State University, 4200 Hillen Road, Baltimore, MD 21218

This Summit will bring together top business leaders and policy experts to discuss current and future large scale surface and sub-surface infrastructure construction projects.  Minority contractors, subcontractors and small businesses can fully participate in these local, regional and national contracting opportunities if they begin to mobilize now to gain information and forge strategic business relationships.  As you may know, repairs, improvements, upgrades and new construction are planned in the rebuilding of roads, bridges, tunnels, rail lines, airports, communications infrastructure, security systems and energy grids in Maryland.  Presenters will discuss major infrastructure projects that are either happening or will be happening in Baltimore and along the I-95 corridor.

Presenters will include BG&E, Baltimore City’s Departments of Public Works, Transportation and General Services, along with federal agencies such as Energy and Commerce, among others.

To register for the event, please contact Amy.Stratton@mail.house.gov or 410-465-8259 by Friday, February 16, 2018.

We hope you will join us for this summit.

Sincerely,

C

Elijah E. Cummings
