Statement from Attorney General Frosh on the 10 Year Anniversary of the Affordable Care Act
BALTIMORE, MD (March 23, 2020) – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today released the following statement in recognition of the 10 year anniversary of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act:
“Enacted 10 years ago today, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has provided millions of Americans with access to health insurance, including hundreds of thousands in Maryland. In the midst of a global pandemic that threatens the health of every American, Marylanders continue to have the opportunity to obtain health insurance for themselves and their families. Despite its success, the ACA remains under attack. We will never stop defending it and defending those who depend on the ACA for coverage.”
