Description: The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for an attorney to serve as Deputy

Counsel to the Maryland Department of Budget and Management.  The Deputy Counsel assists the Principal Counsel in providing legal advice and representation to the Department.  The position is primarily responsible for advising and representing the Central Collection Unit within the Department and for supervising other attorneys and support staff assigned to represent the Central Collection Unit. The Deputy Counsel directly handles or supervises litigation on behalf of the Central Collection Unit in Maryland trial and appellate courts and the United States Bankruptcy Courts.  The position is located at 300 West Preston Street in Baltimore, Maryland.
