With the start of the new year, there is more opportunity to save and invest with an increase in ABLE contribution limits!
The standard annual contribution limit increased from $18,000 in 2024 to $19,000 in 2025.
The ABLE to Work annual contribution limit also increased, making it possible for employed ABLE beneficiaries meeting the ABLE to Work eligibility criteria to contribute an amount equal to the beneficiary’s compensation for the taxable year up to $15,060 in addition to the standard annual contribution limit of $19,000.

The Social Security Administration has announced that an online application for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is now available for some adults, making the application process easier. Following up on an announcement earlier this year, the simplified online application is part of the agency’s overall commitment to improving access to its benefits and programs. SSI provides monthly payments to adults and children with disabilities, as well as people 65 and older, who have little or no income and resources. |
