New Partnership = 2017 Launch
On September 6th, the Maryland Board of Public Works and the Maryland 529 Board approved an intergovernmental purchasing agreement through the State of Oregon with Sumday Administration, LLC. Set to launch by the end of 2017, this newly established partnership places Maryland among a select group of states offering ABLE plans across the nation.
"This innovative program allows for our fellow citizens with disabilities to save their own money and plan for their future. Under the Maryland ABLE program, Marylanders with disabilities can create assets without jeopardizing their federal disability benefits. The ABLE program is a shining example of how, by working together, we can change Maryland for the better."
-Governor Larry Hogan-
