Live Well San Diego is now accepting exhibitor applications for the 2024 Live Well Advance Conference and School Summit Connection Hub! The Connection Hub is a place for attendees to get inspired, meet with experts, and check out the latest programs, resources, and activities from our partners.
Deadline to Apply: September 20, 2024
- Organizations will receive notification of their acceptance into the Connection Hub in late September/early October.
- Liability waivers MUST BE submitted to hold your approved space.
- To encourage engagement with our attendees, interactive booths are required.

Funds to Support Facilities for Vulnerable Seniors & Individuals with Disabilities
The California Department of Aging (CDA) is offering a one-time grant funding program to support facilities for vulnerable seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing safe access to vital services and helping increase the number of participants attending in-center services. This program has approximately $35 million in available funding to support COVID-19 mitigation and resilience to continue to foster safe and healthy person-centered environments.

Tribal Health Program Development Grants
The California State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) is seeking a grantee to actively engage with Indigenous people with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities (PwI/DD). This Tribal health program and funding seeks to ensure that these individuals and their families have an opportunity to receive quality, accessible health-related information, training, supports/services, and/or resources.
The program is seeking to award 1-2 grantees and the amount of total estimated available funding is $125,000.

Mutual Self-Help Housing Technical Assistance Grants
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is offering a Mutual Self-Help Housing Technical Assistance Grants program to qualified organizations to help them carry out local self-help housing construction projects. Grant recipients supervise groups of very-low- and low-income individuals and families as they construct their own homes in rural areas.

California State Loan Repayment Program
The California State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) provides funding to increase the number of health care workers in designated California Health Professional Shortage Areas. Eligible applicants from selected medical disciplines will be awarded between $5,000-$50,000 for their service in California Health Professional Shortage Areas or Federally Qualified Health Centers.

Rural Business Investment Program in California
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is offering a Rural Business Investment Program in California to provide a Rural Business Investment Company (RIBS) license to newly formed developmental capital organizations to help meet the equity capital investment needs in rural communities.

CDPH Grants to Improve Vaccine Confidence
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Immunization Branch is excited to grant $1.9 million in three Requests for Applications (RFAs) to increase vaccine confidence in under-vaccinated and hard-to-reach populations in California.
Eligibility requirements and application materials and details can be found here, and applicants must submit project proposals by June 30, 2025.

A guaranteed loan program is being offered for eligible for-profit or non-profit businesses, cooperatives, federally-recognized Tribes, public bodies, and individuals engaged or proposing to engage in a business. Provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), this Business & Industry Loan Guarantees program is offered to lenders for their loans to rural businesses.
