Adult Reported Missing in Eighth District
NEW ORLEANS – NOPD officers are searching for Joseph Buchert (DOB: 08/07/1968), who was reported missing in the Eighth District.
The reporting person told police that on February 25, 2019, around 6:17 p.m., Buchert texted his acquaintance and advised him that he was leaving New Orleans in his RV and going to Tyler, Texas. On the same date, Buchert reportedly advised his acquaintance that he was in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
On February 26, 2019, at around 1:16 pm, Buchert reportedly advised his acquaintance that he was in Lufkin, Texas. Buchert has not been seen or heard from since. Buchert is known to frequent the French Quarter area.
