Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 2, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled mobile striping operations along U.S. 60 in Fayette and Clark counties. The work will take place Monday, Oct. 5 through Friday, Oct. 9, weather permitting.
Crews will perform roadway striping in both directions from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
Fayette County – U.S. 60
- Mile point 12.6 (near Polo Club Boulevard) to mile point 19.1 (Fayette/Clark County line)
Clark County – U.S. 60
- Mile point 0.0 (Fayette/Clark County line) to mile point 4.3 (near Caudill Drive)
Motorists should expect possible brief delays while crews are working. Drivers should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone and watch for crews and equipment.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
