TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Rolling Roadblock Operations Scheduled on I-64 in Woodford County

Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 2, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled rolling roadblocks on Interstate 64 in Woodford County on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and Wednesday, Oct. 7.

The rolling roadblocks are necessary to allow crews to safely repair multiple potholes in the area. Traffic will be temporarily slowed and, at times, stopped to allow crews to complete repairs near live traffic.

Tuesday, Oct. 6

  •  Rolling roadblocks will take place along eastbound I-64 between mile points 66 and 59.5 from 5:30 p.m. until midnight while crews perform pothole repairs.

Wednesday, Oct. 7

  • Rolling roadblocks will take place along westbound I-64 between mile points 66 and 59.5 from 5:30 p.m. until midnight while crews perform pothole repairs

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
