Daytime closure planned Sept. 30
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept 25, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 749 (Bondsmill Road) in Anderson County for cross drain replacement.
KY 749 (Bondsmill Road) will be closed between mile points 5.5 and 6.5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, weather permitting. The roadway will reopen to traffic after 2 p.m.
Motorists can use U.S. 62 (Bardstown Road) for an alternate route during the closure.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
