LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 14, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that I-75 maintenance work will require a temporary right-lane closure for north and southbound travelers in Scott County on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Work will begin Wednesday, September 16 at 9 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. with the right lane of I-75 Northbound and Southbound closed from mile marker 132 to 140.
Motorists are advised to watch for workers, reduce their speed, expect delays, and plan ahead for alternate routes.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
