Road closed for cross drain repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 24, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 1331 (Howards Mill Road) in Montgomery County for cross drain repairs.
The closure will be in place on KY 1331 (Howards Mill Road) at mile point 0.4 (near Stepstone Road) on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists may use KY 713, KY 965 and U.S. 60 as alternate routes during the closure.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
