Bridge deck pothole repairs planned Aug. 24-26
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 21, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures on I-75 and KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County for bridge deck pothole repairs.
Lane closures for pothole repairs will take place at the following locations, weather permitting:
- Monday, Aug. 24- Eastbound outer loop near mile point 14 at the Richmond Road overpass. The right/slow lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 26 - I-75 southbound near mile point 116 right before Exit 115 (Newtown Pike). The slow lane on the bridge will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
Motorists should use extra caution, reduce speed and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
