Road closed for cross drain repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 21, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 33 in Woodford County for cross drain repairs on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The closure will be in place on KY 33 (Troy Pike) between mile points 6.4 (near Fords Mill Road) and 7.9 (near Delaney Ferry Road) from midnight to 8:30 a.m., weather permitting.
Alternate routes include KY 1965 (Fords Mill Road).
Motorists should use extra caution and use an alternate route during the closure.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
