LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 5, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a daytime right lane closure on northbound U.S. 25 (Richmond Road) in Fayette County for tree trimming operations.
On Thursday, Aug 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, the right lane of northbound U.S. 25 (Richmond Road) will be closed between mile points 11.6 and 12.0, from the Idle Hour Drive area to the Holiday Road/Chinoe Road intersection.
Motorists should use extra caution and watch for signs and personnel while traveling through the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
